This was a fun editorial shoot planned and designed by Alexa Jaimee. She has a self proclaimed ‘heritage style’ that we adore and it shows in the bold color palettes incorporated here. To us, they had a regal, almost presidential feel to them. It is so hard to find good inspiration online in red and blue palettes without it feeling like the Fourth of July, so we loved getting to play with that palette here in two different centerpiece looks while also showcasing some of the available spaces at the Columbia Country Club.

A rare action shot of Emma, from our Baltimore studio! Fun fact: Emma was an architect who hired Steelcut for her wedding flowers then decided flowers were her true calling. She was the second lead designer for the Steelcut team and has now run the Baltimore studio since 2017.
